This practical hands-on course is designed for the experienced full-arch implant team that wishes to incorporate available digital technology into their full-arch treatment workflow. This course will demystify the digital solutions thus simplifying surgical planning & immediate provisionalization. We will show you how to achieve a final full-arch restoration in just two appointments. Learn about tools for data collection, analysis, laboratory interactions, restorative team design and input. Streamline the surgical & restorative treatment on the day of surgery. Significantly reduce chair-time by using a unique innovative protocol for the final restoration, offering a simple easy to follow workflow. Hands-on training for the full-arch team will include intraoral scanning, the use of simplified planning software, new generation fully guided surgery, full-arch digital impression taking during surgery, 3D printing for the immediate provisional restoration and groundbreaking final restoration of the full-arch that may be achieved in two appointments only. Digital workflows will be taught that can be used the next morning to complete a digital full-arch treatment solution with simplicity, accuracy and efficiency. Upon completion of this hands-on course the entire team including surgeon, restorative doctor and auxiliary staff will be able to correctly manage a complete digital workflow for a full-arch implant solution. This course covers topics from data collection for treatment planning to final restoration insertion, guided surgery, intraoral scanning during surgery, 3D printing, accurate scanning for the final full-arch restoration.

Loosing a tooth is highly traumatic particularly when it is visible in the patient’s smile. Today we have the armamentarium, protocols, and evidenced based support to recommend a rapid and immediate transition with Immediate Implant Immediate Load. Patients can be scheduled and treated the day of their emergency or treatment need, with no preparatory work ups other than a simple x-ray. In this way the patient’s needs are satisfied leaving the office with the solution to the problem in place the day the tooth is lost with great esthetics . This protocol is efficacious, patient preferred and provides the clinician with extreme satisfaction in making the patient happy and growing the practice.

David A. Gelb, DDS completed his DDS and Certificate in Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in New York and his implant surgical training at the University of Toronto. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology, a Fellow Academy of Osseointegration, and a Fellow American and International College of Dentists, Fellow Pierre Fauchard Academy, and honored member of OKU. He is on staff at Hartford Hospital and has provides implant services in a state-of-the-art facility in Hartford, CT for over twenty-seven years.
Dr. Gelb has achieved global recognition as a leader in Implant dentistry having pioneered surgical procedures for finite esthetics in implant dentistry, immediate implant placement, and bone regeneration. He lectures nationally and internationally at major implant meetings and publishes extensively in journals worldwide on implant dentistry. He developed the "Gelb Radiographic Depth Gauge," a diagnostic surgical guide to heighten precise and optimum implant placement, and designed "The Implant Tracker," a comprehensive software program to manage the Implant practice.
Dr. Gelb continues to move forward with innovative implant surgical procedures including the unsurpassed "Teeth-In-One-Hour" and immediate loading. Dr. Gelb maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Surgery in his state-of-the-art facility in West Hartford, Connecticut, where he and his dedicated staff serve patients from all over the world.
Dr. Gelb and his wife live in West Hartford. Dr. Gelb's wife Susanne Gelb, DDS is a Cosmetic Dentist in Hartford. They enjoy spending time with their four children and grandchildren. They are active in the community and are dedicated to their family, friends, neighbors and especially their patients.
Regenerative materials continue to evolve in their implementation and predictability. They have expanded from using autogenous bone grafting to allografts that are fiber-based and xenografts that combine collagen with particulates. These evolutions provide the scaffolds and, in some instances, the biologic inductive agents that make the outcomes more robust and esthetic. This hands-on workshop will give the background on material selections along with the experience of handling these various materials in a variety of clinical situations such as extraction site defects, deficient osseous ridges, and peri-implantitis deformities. In addition, the workshop will cover some of the barrier options available and when they should and might no longer be necessary.

Dr. Paul Rosen has maintained a full-time private practice in Lower Bucks County for over 25 years limited to periodontics, surgical implant placement and regenerative therapy. He also has academic appointments as Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School and Clinical Professor of Periodontics and Oral Implantology at Temple University Dental School. Dr. Rosen is board certified (Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology) where he also has been an examiner. Dr. Rosen is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and is known throughout the United States and internationally having written over 50 articles and 5 book chapters. He continues to be involved in research and his lectures have advanced periodontal and dental implant treatment, focusing on cutting edge techniques and innovative products. Dr. Rosen has been recognized by his peers in Philadelphia Magazine as one of the top dentists in the region and in 2015, Dr. Rosen received the Master Clinician Award, by the American Academy of Periodontology which is conferred to only one member annually who has demonstrated consistent clinical excellence in periodontology. The Master Clinician Award is considered one of the American Academy of Periodontology’s highest honors. Dr. Rosen has also received the Distinguised Alumni Award for Professional Achievement from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2020. The University of Maryland Dental School is where Dr. Rosen received his Master’s Degree and completed his Periodontal residency and Implant training.
The presentation is interactive and will illuminate what Private Equity is and why they want to enter into Dental/Medicine. It will provide an understanding of the metrics they look at, the offers they make, and the contributing factors to that offer after a sale. The course will provide a glossary of terms/definitions utilized during Private Equity engagements, along with basic formulas utilized so a graduate of the course will have a basic understanding of how to determine their practice value, the measurements involved, and what life will look like after a sale.

He brings a team-based organizational approach to his leadership model, which was developed from his broad-based experiences during his eight years of service in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Specialist. He is certified as a HIPAA Security Professional, HIPAA Privacy Security Expert, and HIPAA Administrator. He speaks internationally including Oxford University (Big Data) on business efficiency, HIPAA Security, and the value of data for sound decision making within your practice. Sean graduated with his B.A. in Global Multi-National Multi-Cultural Studies from Rider University, where he was noted for outstanding academic achievements receiving the Andrew J. Rider Scholar award.
